The TC Library website (according to Alexa.com the most popular website in the field) is a free, open body of knowledge which indexes more than 15,000 articles in the fields of technical and professional communication, to encourage people in the field to find articles about their areas of interest within the profession.

The SHAZAM Technical Communication team won their seventh Award of Excellence in the printed newsletter category for its work on their Spotlight on Service newsletter. They competed against 490 other newsletters, including the likes of The Walt Disney Company and Lockheed Martin. The SHAZAM team, made up of STC-Central Iowa members Leslie Akehurst, Linda Foltz, Alisha Sauer (née Logsdon), and Eden Picht, also won this award in 1999, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
