Society for Technical Communication (STC) is a non-profit international
organization devoted to technical communication. Members include
writers, editors, illustrators, designers, printers, publishers,
educators, students, engineers, and scientists in all areas
of technology.
The
Des Moines STC Chapter, chartered in 1986, comprises more than
100 members.
